Stop making fun of laborers/मजदूरों का मजाक बनाना बंद करो

Like every year, this year also Labor  Day was celebrated on  1 of May, but this year's Labor Day was completely different from previous years. This year, our toiling laborers who provide fuel to the factories of the entire world with their blood and sweat, were imprisoned in small rooms due to lock down in different parts of the country. This epidemic has made them so helpless that they failed to arrange two square meal in a day , while on the other hand, sitting in the AC rooms, the capitalists, the so-called journalists and leaders who has been abusing the workers since March 25, pretended to be on Labor Day great well wisher of laborers , were also congratulating the workers on The Labors' day with the words furnished. This world is so strange! The laborers and the poor have suffered the most in this epidemic and have also abused them!

 After the start of the first lock-down of 24 April, the photographs of the exodus of the workers started coming from different parts of the country. Though our toiling workers are martyred daily for the ruthless capitalists working in factories, factories, but this time due to this epidemic lock down, they are forced to migrate thousands of kilometers on foot, rickshaws, bicycles  with their hungry thirsty condition towards their villages . Unfortunately, many laborers had to lose their lives and those who reached the village in some way, they would have to go to the village's Primary School , There had to be quarantine for 14 days in that institutions. Apart from this, there were reports from different parts of the country that they were discriminated against. There were also reports that many laborers committed suicide due to social exclusion. All these incidents took place in a civilized society. Does not suit

Lock down  2.

The toiling laborers  brothers who were stayed/stranded in different parts of the country on the assurances of the governments, their restlessness began to increase as soon as the lock-down was implemented. They felt that after 21 days the lock-down would open, either they would return to work again or they could return to their village when The Trains and

buses  resumed. Due to the long lock-down of 21 days, they started getting scarcity of ration, food etc. Through some media, some laborers, who made  videos by posting videos on social media themselves, came into  the public and governments aware of their plight, so the state governments, voluntary organizations tried to do a lot of helps  but maybe this help didn't assured the workers. Could not stop them,  In Surat, Gujarat, laborers came out on the streets demanding to send them home and similar news came from big cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad. Some videos, pictures came to be shocking, one such video went viral in which 50 -60 laborers were forced to travel 1100 km in a Mixer truck. Day after day, pictures of the plight of the workers were viral on social media.

Lock down 3

Along with the plight of the laborers, the economy of the country was also in the midst of crisis  meanwhile , there was a demand that if the governments can bring  students from Kota, Allahabad then why not the laborers? The Central Government allowed to the State Governments to bring its laborers and state government took initiative , but it was not possible to bring the workers stranded in such large numbers by buses. On the evening of May 1, the news of lock down 3 (4 May-17) came to light, and the train left with the workers of Jharkhand as the workers were welcomed with flowers and packets of food were highly appreciated.

Now the workers of almost all the states is being brought by trains to their homes, are very commendable, but the way the government have joked with them is quite blasphemous. Railway is being questioned . the section of the economically weak laborers and the way political debate is being done on it is a disgusting act, however the way all the news is that the Congress Party will pay the workers' fare  is a commendable step.

This epidemic has ruined the economy and the public, but it has revealed  the attitude of  Governments towards  the laborers and the poor . I am still optimistic that perhaps the people will remember these issues while choosing governments.

हर साल की तरह इस बार भी लेबर दिवस 1 मई को मनाया गया परन्तु इस साल का लेबर दिवस पिछले सालों से बिल्कुल अलग था। इस बार  हमारे मेहनतकश मजदूर जो अपने मेहनत से पुरे संसार के फैक्टरियों को अपने खून पसीने से ईंधन प्रदान करतें हैं आज देश के अलग - अलग हिसों में छोटे छोटे कमरे में कैद थे । इस महामारी ने उन्हें इतना बेबस करदिया है  कि वे अपने दो जून की रोटी का जुगाड़ करने में विफल होरहे थे वंही दूसरी ओर  ए सी कमरों में बैठकर 25 मार्च से मजदूरों को गाली देने वाले पूँजीपति ,तथाकथित पत्रकार  और नेता मजदूर दिवस पर अपने ढोंग भरे सुसज्जित शब्दों से मजदूरों को मजदूर दिवस  पर बधाई दे रहे थे। ये संसार भी कितना अजीब है ! मजदूरों और गरीबों ने इस महामारी में परेशानी भी सबसे ज्यादा झेली और गाली भी !
 24 अप्रैल के पहले लॉक डाउन के शुरू होने के बाद मजदूरों का पलायन की तस्वीरें देश के अलग- अलग हिसों से आने लगी थी। वैसे तो हमारे मेहनतकश मजदूर फैक्टरियों ,कारखानों में काम करते हुए निर्दयी पूंजीपतियों के लिए रोज शहीद होते हैं लेकिन इस बार इस महामारी लॉक डाउन के कारण उन्हें हजारों किलोमीटर पैदल ,रिक्शे ,साइकिलों से अपने गाओं के तरफ भूखे प्यासे पलायन होने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा तथा दुर्भाग्य से कई  मजदूर को जान से हाथ भी धोना पड़ा और जो लोग किसी तरह से गांव में पहुंचे तो उन्हें गांव से दुर शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में 14 दिनों तक क्वारंटाइन होना पड़ा इसके अलावा देश के अलग -अलग हिस्सों से ऐसी भी ख़बरें आईं  कि उनके साथ भेदभाव भी हुआ ऐसी भी ख़बरें आयीं कि कई मजदूरों ने सामाजिक बहिष्करण के कारण आत्महत्या भी करलिया ये सारी घटनाएं एक सभ्य समाज को कतई सोभा नहीं देता है !

तालाबंदी 2. 

जो मेहनतकश मजदूर भाई सरकारों के आश्वासन पर  देश के अलग- अलग हिस्सों में फसे थे , लॉक डाउन के लागू होते ही उनकी बेचैनियां और बढ़ने लगी।  उन्हें लगरहा था की 21 दिन के बाद लॉक डाउन खुलेगा या  तो वे फिरसे अपने काम पर लौट जायेंगे या यातायात के फिर से शुरू होने पर वे अपने गाओं को लौट सकते हैं। 21 दिन के लम्बे लॉक डाउन लगने से उन्हें राशन , खाने-पीने  आदि सामग्री की किल्लत होने लगी थी। कुछ मीडिया के माध्यम से कुछ मजदूरों जिन्होंने  ने स्वयं वीडियो बनाकर सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट किया इससे जनता और सरकारों को उनके दुर्दशा के बारे में पता चला अतः राज्य सरकारों , स्वयं सेवा संस्थााओं  ने काफी हदतक मदद  करने का प्रयास किया परन्तुं शायद ये मदद आश्वासन मजदूरों के सब्र को रोक न सका।  गुजरात के सूरत में मजदूरों ने घर भेजने को लेकर सड़कों पर निकल आये और ऐसी ही ख़बरें मुंबई , हैदराबाद जैसे बड़े शहरों से भी आयीं। कुछ वीडियो ,तस्वीरें तो ऐसी आयीं जो दिल दहलाने वालीं थीं ऐसा ही एक वीडियो वायरल हुआ जिसमें 50 -60 मजदूर एक मिक्चर ट्रक में 1100 किलीमीटर  सफर करने को मजबूर हुए दिन बा दिन मजदूरों की दुर्दशा की तस्वीरें सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल होरही थी .

मजदूरों के दुर्दशा के साथ ही साथ देश की अर्थब्यवस्था  की भी दुर्दशा होरही थी इसी बीच ये मांग भी होरही थी कि सरकारें अगर छात्रों को कोटा , इलाहबाद से लसकती हैं तो मजदूरों को क्यों नहीं  ? केंद्र सरकार ने अपने मजदूरोँ को राज्य सरकारों  को अनुमति दी ,राज्य सरकारों ने मजदूरों लाने की  पहल भी की परन्तु मजदूर इतनी बड़ी संख्या में फसे हुए हैं  उन्हें बसों से लाना सम्बव नहीं था। 1 मई के शाम को लॉक डाउन 3 (4  मई -17 ) के लागु होने की ख़बरें प्रकाश में आयीं और इसी बीच  पहली ट्रैन झारखण्ड के मजदूरों को लेकर रवाना हुई जिस तरह झारखण्ड की सर्कार ने मजदूरों का फूलों से स्वागत और खाने के पैकेट दिए गए उसे काफी सराहा भी गया। अब लगभग सभी राज्यों के मजदूरों को ट्रेनों से उनके घरों तक पहुंचाने का कार्य किया जारहा है  ये अत्यंत  सराहनीये भी है परन्तुं जिसतरह से मजदूरों के साथ मजाक किया जारहा है काफी निंदनीय  है।  आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर होचुके मजदूरों से जिसतरह  रेलवे विभग किराया वसूल रहा  उस पर प्रश्नचिन्ह लगाया जारहा  है और जिस तरह इसपर राजनीती वादविवाद हो रहा है अत्यंत घृणित कार्य है हालांकि जिस तरह से अभी  खबर आरही है कि कांग्रेस पार्टी मजदूरों के किराये को चुकायेगी ये अत्यंत सराहनीये कदम है। 


इस महामारी ने अर्थब्यवस्था की चौपट और जनता को तो बदहाल किया है लेकिन इसने सरकारों के मजदूरों ,गरीबों के प्रति रवैये को जनता के सामने प्रकट करदिया है । मैं अभी भी आशावादी हूँ कि शायद जनता सरकारें चुनते समय इन मुद्दे को जरूर याद रखेगी।
